Plasma Center Nurse EMT-P

We are looking for a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations in Belton, MO. The role reports to the Plasma Center Manager and works under the guidance of the Center Physician.

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, and blood testing.
• Manage donor adverse events and review laboratory test results.
• Notify donors of unsuitable test results and follow SOPs for medical emergencies.
• Coordinate with Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and reference EHS guidance.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.

• High school diploma or equivalent; graduate level nursing program with state requirements.
• Licensed or certified in the state of assignment (EMT‑Paramedic).
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• State‑required basic IV therapy training.
• Successful completion of FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• Minimum two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Belton, Missouri. Hourly wage range: $24.32 – $33.44 per hour. Compensation may vary based on qualifications.
