Role: Diesel Fleet Technician Level II responsible for maintaining and repairing fleet vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Conduct annual FAI/CVI inspections on all fleet vehicles and equipment according to regulations.
- Perform quality repairs on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, HVAC, and hydraulic components.
- Address driver-reported issues promptly and efficiently.
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs following manufacturer specifications.
- Document work on work orders and develop proficiency in company computer programs.
- Perform electrical testing, electrical repairs, welding, and handle control systems (DC, low-voltage).
- Medium/heavy duty truck technical training and high school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years of continuous diesel fleet experience.
- Valid driver's license; ASE certifications preferred.
- Certifications including Annual Inspector, Brake Inspector, 609 HVAC, and possibly ASE.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, controls, electrical testing, and welding.
