- I. Music Ministry
- Direct the planning, organizing, coordinating, and evaluating of a comprehensive music program.
- Supervise all volunteer and employed workers in the music areas.
- Equip and empower staff and volunteers for music ministries throughout the church.
- Select and order choral and instrumental music for all choirs.
- Facilitate the upkeep of the church music library, materials and supplies.
- Supervise the use and care of all instruments and church audio visual equipment.
- II. Worship
- Assist the Pastor in planning all worship services.
- Select music for worship.
- Coordinate and support all rehearsals and practices for worship events.
- III. Audio Visual
- Prepare slides and A/V equipment for worship services.
- Schedule A/V team for worship services.
- Keep equipment up to date and train A/V team on anything new.
- IV. Pastoral Care
- Assist in home, hospital, and skilled care facility visits.
- Assist in funerals and memorial services.
- Support and facilitate Senior Adult activities and ministry opportunities.
- V. Administration
- Coordinate the music ministry with the church calendar.
- Lead music ministries to support the church mission statement.
- Serve as an ex-officio member of the music ministry team, A/V team, Senior Adult team, and wedding team.
- VI. Church/Staff Relations
- Support the Pastor as staff-team leader.
- Cooperate as a member of the staff-team effort.
- Promote harmony among church membership.
- Be a positive influence in the community.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Pastor.
