Lead, Production – 2nd Shift will oversee a team within a production group, ensuring smooth operations and efficient project completion. Responsibilities include assisting with hiring and training, managing team schedules and assignments, and supporting the Production Manager in conducting timely and constructive performance evaluations.
ScheduleMonday-Friday, 2pm-11pm
Responsibilities- Ensure the necessary equipment is available and in working order to complete assignments
- Lead team in conducting daily safety checks on equipment, including machines, forklift trucks and other specialized assets
- Notify manager when any team member is not available for assignment when scheduled
- Follow the manager provided work order dashboard report and/or manager’s guidance to delegate and prioritize daily work orders
- Attend all safety and job-related training
- Assist manager in direction of day-to-day activities of team and provide input on problem resolution when requested
- Keep team members informed about rules, regulations, policies, and objectives
- Maintain detailed and accurate work records
- Collaborate with the team to identify ways to improve department effectiveness; implement viable ideas
- Assist team members when needed on complex operations and on difficult projects
- Responsible for compliance with all applicable Quality Systems Management procedures
- Create NCR (Non-Compliance Report) for discrepant products, log technician specific errors for retraining or process improvements data tracking
- Monitor technician compliance with applicable work processes. When an order is complete, deliver to the designated department
- Perform 6-Point inspection and create inspection report when requested
- Notify manager when Project Engineer assistance is required for any missing info or clarification on Work Orders
- Pre-inspection on all new design or complex work orders
- Inform manager when supplies necessary for work order are almost depleted or not available
- Verify that outgoing deliveries meet company quality standards, and that all documentation match and have the appropriate signatures
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Attend all required company training
- Demonstrate commitments to Stratasys Behaviors by leading, acting, and modeling these values
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the department or manager
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5-7 years of related work experience
- Understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used on the production floor/warehouse
- Must be able to instruct technicians in departmentally specific techniques
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to motivate team to accomplish objectives
- Ability to remain organized
- Familiarity with IQS and Solid Jobs
