Charge RN – Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital

Location:

Temple, TX. Full‑time day shift, 36 hours per week.

Our Medical Telemetry Unit is a 38‑bed unit that focuses on providing a high level of direct and individualized care.

• Sepsis
• Pulmonary conditions or respiratory distress
• Chest pain
• Infection
• Patients requiring isolation; including negative airflow rooms
• Patients requiring skin and wound care including wound vacs
• Patients requiring scopes, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, paracentesis, angio‑cath, pacemaker insertions, and chest tubes.
• Enteral feeding tube insertion and maintenance
• Patients requiring cardiac monitoring
• GI abnormalities
• Trach care
• Genitourinary abnormalities

• Graduate of RN School of Nursing
• ADN required
• Must be licensed to practice professional nursing by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners

• Completed an established program in nursing
• At least two years in the field
• Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of being hired
