Cardiac Care and Telemetry Unit (STC2) (38-bed unit) – Temple, TX
Full‑Time – 36 hours/week – Day shift.

Temple, TX.
We’re currently seeking full‑time experienced (12+ months) Registered Nurses to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. The facility is a 636‑bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.

This 38‑bed Cardiac Telemetry‑monitored Nursing Unit offers the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients, ranging from adults to geriatrics. The conditions within the scope of service include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Stable cardiac medical conditions:
- Cardiac Ablations
- Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (Watchman)
- Permanent Pacemaker Placement
- Chest Pain
- Congestive Heart Failure
- Vascular Interventions
- Percutaneous Cardiac Interventions
- Stable neurological conditions:
- Stable Stroke
- Seizure
- Weakness
- Syncope
The Cardiac Care Unit works closely with multidisciplinary teams across social services, case management, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, and dietary services. Patient care is grounded in evidence‑based best practices to ensure quality care.
Requirements OfThe Ideal Candidate
- Graduate of an RN school of nursing
- ADN required; BSN preferred
- Must be licensed by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
- Minimum 12 months of RN experience; acute care or hospital setting preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Graduate of an accredited program
- Specialized field of study in nursing
- RN license
- Must have BLS certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting in this role
