As a Procedural Registered Nurse, work as a licensed professional using the nursing practice model to oversee patient care. Responsibilities include assessing patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, and developing personalized care plans. Regularly assess patient responses. Contributions help patients navigate healthcare safely by understanding their needs and the system. This prevents complications and delays. Delegate tasks based on Texas nursing laws, patient conditions, and staff skills.

- Use careful clinical judgment, assess patients and prioritize their needs, and create and adjust care plans for better results.
- Assess your nursing practices to ensure quality and effectiveness, track indicators, implement changes based on research, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Teach patients and staff, integrating education into care at all levels.
- Apply systems thinking, using strategies and resources to solve problems for patients, families, and staff.
- Enhance professionalism and the work environment, contribute to decision‑making, and recognize others’ contributions meaningfully.
- In-depth understanding of nursing and patient care standards and procedures.
- Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and professional standards, and familiarity with department policies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to address problems with critical thinking.
- Monitoring patients’ health and communicating changes efficiently to nursing staff and healthcare providers.
- Delivering patient‑centered care that honors diversity, using the nursing process and following standards.

Qualifications- Accredited program or at least two years of post‑secondary education, required for this position.
- Major focus or specialization in Nursing.
- Ideally some relevant professional experience, though less than one year is acceptable.
- Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or obtain within thirty days of hire or transfer.
