We’re currently seeking a Charge Nurse to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas—the #1 city in the nation for nursing opportunities and advancement. Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636‑bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.

Our Medical Telemetry Unit is a 38‑bed unit focused on providing a high level of direct and individualized care. It offers ample learning opportunities with a full spectrum of medical diagnoses and comorbidities.

• Pulmonary conditions or respiratory distress
• Chest pain

• Patients requiring isolation, including negative airflow rooms
• Patients requiring skin and wound care, including wound vacs
• Patients requiring procedural interventions such as thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, paracentesis, angio‑cath, pacemaker insertions and chest tubes
• Enteral feeding tube insertion and maintenance
• Patients requiring cardiac monitoring
• GI abnormalities
• Trach care
• Genitourinary abnormalities

• Graduate of an RN school of nursing; ADN required
• Must be licensed to practice professional nursing by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners

• Completed an established program in nursing
• At least 2 years in the field
• Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
