Electrician

Position Overview

Multi Volt Electric offers family values, large pay and benefits with a small company feel. We are looking for Electricians for industrial and heavy commercial projects, primarily in Water/Wastewater Facilities (pump stations, lift stations, well sites, water treatment plants, wastewater plants).

• Install all types of conduits (rigid, PVC coated rigid, PVC), thread conduit manually and using a power pony, bend conduit, and read blueprints.
• Install underground duct banks, rough in slabs, and install electrical gear ranging from small load centres to MCCs, transformers, VFDs, soft starters, generators, ATS, docking stations, UPS, etc.
• Install antenna towers for SCADA systems, instrumentation, control panels, read schematics and PI&D drawings.
• Operate excavators, skid steers, forklifts, telehandlers as needed.
• Switch between project types and electrical work as required.
• Travel during the week when needed (not mandatory).

• Licensed Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician with a Texas licence.
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial or heavy commercial electrical work.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and PI&D drawings.
• Proficiency with conduit installation, rigging, and underground duct work.
• Experience with electrical equipment (MCCs, transformers, VFDs, soft starters, generators, ATS, UPS).
• Comfortable operating heavy equipment (excavator, skid steer, forklift, telehandler).
• Flexibility to switch roles and work on different types of projects.
• Willingness to travel during the week as needed.

• Pay: $25 to $45+ per hour (dependent on experience) for licensed Apprentices and Journeymen with Texas licence.
• Overtime over 40 hours, average 8 hours per week.
• Possible quarterly bonuses based on individual performance.
• Paid weekly via direct deposit; clock in/out using an app.
• Company pays for hotel and food when traveling overnight (employees do not share rooms).
