Job Description:Dr. Watts Electric, Heating & Air is seeking a motivated HVAC Apprentice to join our residential service team. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone looking to build a long‑term career in the HVAC industry
. You will work under the guidance of experienced technicians to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential homes.
- Assist with installation, servicing, and repairs of HVAC systems including furnaces, A/C units, and heat pumps
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing filters, cleaning coils, and checking refrigerant
- Maintain clean and organized work spaces
- Follow all company safety guidelines and job site protocols
- Accurately document work performed and materials used
- Participate in training to develop HVAC skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed an HVAC training program (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and all weather conditions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screening
- $12–$15/hour based on experience
