* * plays a critical role in the field of medical laboratory science by preparing tissue specimens for microscopic examination. Working directly under the supervision of the Director of Laboratory Operations and Director of Pathology, the Histotechnologist is responsible for preparing, processing, staining, and mounting tissue specimens for review by the pathologist, ensuring accurate and timely processing and handling of specimens. Assists supervisor in meeting department regulatory agency requirements (CAP, CLIA, etc.).Please

* Qualifications:

** Minimum of three years’ Histology experience.

Immunohistochemistry experience required. Qualification in Immunohistochemistry strongly desired.

** Ability to multi-task, self-motivation, reliability, and accountability in meeting timelines. Excellent computer software and data analysis skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
