Role Description

This is a full‑time hybrid role for an Associate Litigation Attorney with 2–5 years of litigation experience, located in Beltsville, MD, with the flexibility to work remotely as needed. Responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting motions and pleadings, representing clients in court proceedings, preparing for trials, and managing depositions. The Associate Litigation Attorney will work closely with clients to provide high‑quality legal counsel and support throughout the litigation process.

Qualifications
  • Proficient knowledge and strong understanding of law, legal concepts, and ethics in the context of civil litigation
  • Experience drafting and arguing motions effectively
  • Familiarity with court procedures and the ability to navigate state and federal judicial systems
  • Prior experience conducting and managing depositions and participating in trial preparation
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple cases efficiently
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in good standing with the Maryland State Bar (additional bar admissions in DC or Virginia are a plus)
  • Prior experience in civil litigation practice areas, such as insurance defense or products liability, is preferred
