Registered Nurse Home Health

This position is for a Registered Nurse in Home Health. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. There are no weekends or holidays required. The role involves covering various locations, primarily in the Rockville area. The nurse is expected to maintain a productivity level of five visits per day. Patient cases include all diagnoses discharges from hospitals and SNFs.

Candidates should have a minimum of one year of experience in relevant fields. First-timers are not accepted for this position. BLS certification is required. This position does not require on-call duties. Local candidates are accepted within the specified radius. Experience with charting systems, particularly Home Care Home Base, is required. Preferred qualifications include previous charge experience and community hospital experience.

The nurse will perform a range of duties including patient assessments, medication management, and wound care. Skills in infection control, catheter management, and care for patients with feeding tubes are necessary. The role involves coordination of services and management of discharge processes. Strong case management skills are essential for success in this position.
