SecuritySystems Service Technicians
Security Systems Service Technicians ensure all systems and components are inspected, tested, operated, and maintained according to customer requirements. These systems include CCTV/IP cameras, alarm sensors, access control devices, and software platforms. As the face of Siemens, your expertise and customer interactions keep building inhabitants safe.
As a Security Service Technician, you will:- Execute comprehensive testing and inspections for systems under maintenance agreements.
- Create detailed test and inspection reports based on code requirements and customer needs.
- Respond quickly to troubleshoot and complete repairs to maintain system functionality.
- Report on activities completed, deferred, or requiring further action or material.
- Identify code and non‑conformance issues, ensuring adherence to required standards.
- Quote small repair jobs and provide detailed parts and labor requirements for large repair projects.
- Plan work with mentor, Lead Technicians, and Supervisors to strategize tasks effectively.
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ year’s experience in installation and/or maintenance of large‑scale integrated security systems.
- Demonstrated understanding of network components and workstation and server operating system management.
- Willingness and ability to work in various environments, including mechanical equipment, ladders, scaffolds, high‑lift equipment, ducts, ceilings, and outdoor/indoor/heat/cold conditions; capable of handling tools and equipment up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- 18 years of age, valid driver’s license with limited violations, and eligibility to participate in Siemens’ fleet vehicle program.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States permanently without sponsorship.
- High school diploma or state‑recognized GED;
Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred. - 3+ years’ experience in installation and/or maintenance of large‑scale integrated security systems.
- Ability to read and understand design and construction documents.

Pay range: $58,976 – $101,102 annually; actual wage may vary by budget and candidate qualifications. Benefits details:
