Who are we looking for?

An entry-level diesel mechanic who prioritizes safety and time management. An individual who is coachable and eager to learn. Applicants must be positive and willing to take on new challenges.

Minimum Requirements:

A Diesel Mechanic must have the following:

• Availability to work some Saturdays.
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Basic knowledge of:
  • Hydraulics
  • Electrical system
• Maintenance Experience
  
  Required:
  
  (minimum 1 year)
  • Oil
  • Tires
  • Clutch replacements
  • Rear differentials
• Full Driver's License (Driver Permits and Provisional Driver's License are excluded)
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification is Preferred

About the position:

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic preventative maintenance on the fleet
• Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
• Upkeep the general cleanliness of the Diesel Shop
• Comply with all Company & OSHA Safety Standards
• Assist our fleet on the road as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Skills:

• Natural mechanical aptitude
• Ability to quickly grasp concepts

Physical Demands:

Individuals must have the consistent ability to:

• Stand their entire shift
• Lift, Push, Pull 70lbs regularly
• Work in an outdoor environment all year round
• Maintain continuous awareness of surroundings
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Adhere to the safety protocols and procedures
