Leads process improvement tools and methods—such as 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and time and motion studies—to eliminate losses within a Distribution Center, aligned with Network Process Structure and the Walmart Performance System (WPS). Delivers expected functional area results through KPI analysis, loss elimination, and the creation of standard work to reduce process variation.

Assists with the review and response of process improvement projects owned by area managers. Applies new Network One Best Way playbooks and provides input to Divisional Focused Improvement Teams on project ideation and replication opportunities. Leads savings projects within the area of responsibility by removing waste and inefficiencies from processes. Promotes and supports company policies, initiatives, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

Assists with the tactical deployment of WPS program methodology. Manages execution of projects addressing top losses within the functional area and supports capability‑building for area managers and associates.

• Design and implement process improvement projects, reducing variation and eliminating waste.
• Analyze and report on key performance indicators and loss profiles.
• Provide training, mentorship, and supervision for associates.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and coordinate project activities.
• Apply Six Sigma, 5S, root cause analysis, and time‑motion studies.
• Support department managers with WPS programs, associate engagement, and KPI improvements.
• Develop gap analyses to support WPS integration.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field and 3 years’ experience in Process Improvement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, analytical skills.
• Knowledge of process or value stream simulation.
• Demonstrated project ownership resulting in sustainable, long‑term savings.
• Preferred:
  Process Improvement experience in a Total Performance Management environment.
• Preferred:
  Six Sigma certification.
