(USA) Operations Manager - Service Shop (Transportation) Position Summary
Lead Walmart’s logistics service shop operations, ensuring the shop runs at peak efficiency, drives operational excellence, and supports the seamless movement of goods across the network.
What you’ll do- Drive and implement business plans to achieve facility goals in production, quality, and safety.
- Forecast staffing needs, manage workload, and monitor performance to align with business demands.
- Monitor and manage productivity and compliance, preparing and analyzing business reports to drive improvements.
- Supervise and manage shop associates and leaders, providing direction, monitoring performance, and offering feedback and development opportunities.
- Oversee shop operations, ensuring compliance with state, federal regulations, and Walmart’s quality and safety standards.
- Strong background in operations and expense management within a service shop or fleet maintenance environment.
- Proven experience in performance management and regulatory compliance.
- Effective leadership skills focused on training, development, and fostering teamwork.
- Excellent judgment and decision‑making capabilities.
- Robust communication skills, able to articulate ideas clearly and promote commitment across the team.
Annual salary range: $ - $. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses, Regional Pay Zone adjustments, and a stock purchase plan.

Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field and 1 year experience supervising employees in heavy‑duty truck and trailer or equivalent maintenance experience.
- Associate’s Degree in Business or related field and 2 years experience supervising employees in heavy‑duty truck and trailer or equivalent maintenance experience.
- 2 years experience as a Walmart Refurb/Service Shop Area Manager.
- Diesel, automotive or heavy equipment maintenance technical certifications (e.g., ASE, Air Conditioning, DOT Brake, DOT Preventative Maintenance) and 2 years supervising employees in heavy‑duty truck and trailer or equivalent maintenance experience.
- General Maintenance experience.
- Supervising Associates experience.
- Transportation background.
- Bachelors:
Business. - ASE Certification.
