Position SummaryThe role focuses on achieving facility goals related to production, quality, safety, and productivity. Responsibilities include communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, maintaining quality and safety standards, analyzing business reports, identifying and resolving associate, customer and supplier concerns, and coaching and developing associates and leaders. The position promotes a culture of belonging, integrity, customer focus, and continuous improvement while supporting Walmart’s commitment to a drug‑free workplace.
WhatYou’ll Do
• Communicate verbally and in writing with customers, suppliers, associates, and leadership.
• Implement the business plan for the area of responsibility by sharing goals, managing staffing, scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads.
• Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports.
• Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained, complying with policies, and updating procedures and documentation.
• Identify associate, customer, and supplier concerns and recommend corrective action.
• Supervise and develop associates and leaders, providing feedback, coaching, training and performance evaluation.
• Build high‑performing teams, embrace diversity, and create a workplace where associates feel seen, supported and connected.
• Act with integrity, promote Walmart values, and maintain the highest ethical standards.
• Put customers first, apply business models, and make data‑driven decisions that balance short‑ and long‑term priorities.
• Drive continuous improvement, adopt new technologies, and support others through change.
- Associate’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field and 1 year supervisory experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- 1 year Walmart Logistics Management experience.
- 2 years Walmart Logistics experience.
- 2 years supervisory experience.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Experience supervising associates.
- Experience with Walmart Logistics Systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Logistics.
