Valley Custom Woodwork Inc is seeking an experienced Counter top & Solid Surface Fabricatorto join our production team. This role is ideal for a hands-on fabricator with a background in solid surface and architectural millwork who can contribute to the fabrication of high-quality custom surfaces for residential, commercial and industrial projects.
The position focuses heavily on fabricating materials such as Corian and other solid surface products. Candidates with a strong fabrication foundation and millwork experience will thrive in this fast-paced, quality-driven shop environment. We are looking for detail-oriented craftsmen who value safety, precision and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):Fabricate and assemble solid surface materials for commercial applications, including fabricating tops to shop plans
Interpret and work from shop drawings, technical diagrams, and fabrication specifications
Fabricate miterfold edges cut on CNC equipment
Perform standard drip edge fabrication as well as stacked drip edge fabrication
Attach undermount sinks and finish sink openings to final specifications
Seam solid surface materials accurately and consistently
Sand and polish solid surface tops to final finish and specified dimensions
Operate shop machinery such as routers, sanders, thermoforming tools, and edge-banding equipment
Experience using ovens for bending radiused parts is a plus
Ability to operate CNC equipment to cut parts is a plus
Maintain high standards of quality control and craftsmanship
Collaborate with foreman and project managers to meet deadlines and resolve issues
Follow shop safety protocols and maintain a clean, efficient work area
Support general shop operations, including cabinetry and millwork assembly as needed
3-5+ years of experience in commercial solid surface fabrication (e.g., Corian, HI-MACS, etc.)
Basic to advanced millwork or millwright skills preferred
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical specifications
Proficiency with hand and power tools used in woodworking and fabrication
Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to problem-solving
