The Automation Control Systems Manager will own the DC Control system master plan, manage multiple projects, drive continuous improvement, and ensure system performance meets business and safety objectives. The role involves cross‑functional collaboration, training and staffing, and maintaining compliance with company policies.

• Manage the DC Control system master plan and all related initiatives.
• Plan and execute outages, troubleshooting, and corrective actions across all lines.
• Develop and maintain relationships with departments, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Identify goals, measure progress, and promote continuous learning within the team.
• Develop training content and programs for site associates, including work instruction creation.
• Participate in recruiting to fill staffing opportunities.
• Define scope, deliverables, milestones, and timelines for projects such as PLC programming, Industrial PC control, and HMI development.
• Coordinate planning activities, risk assessments, target dates, and management plans.
• Track plan changes and resolve critical issues, ensuring project completion.
• Deliver status presentations, reports, and documentation to stakeholders and suppliers.
• Troubleshoot and analyze operational processes, equipment, and workflow nonconformities.
• Conduct root cause analysis and drive reliability and stability of equipment.
• Support control system resolution and engage cross‑functional teams and vendors.
• Evaluate system performance, utilize detailed reporting, and implement continuous improvement projects.
• Build transparent relationships with customers and vendor contacts to maximize system performance.
• Champion technology improvements, reduce effort, increase productivity, and accelerate business goals.
• Lead process improvement of control system architecture and change management.
• Ensure DC electrical safety and power system compliance through training and change management.
• Supervise, hire, train, assign duties, and promote a culture of belonging and inclusion.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and the Open Door Policy.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• 2 years’ experience as a multiskilled maintenance technician.
• 2 years’ work experience in automation or control systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field and 2 years’ experience in automation, manufacturing, or related area.
• Certification in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Root Cause Analysis, or Ignition.
• Experience in automation or control systems.

Annual Range: $65,500.00 - $98,000.00
