SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Iron Worker Assembly in Belvidere, IL. As an Iron Worker, you are responsible for assembling Iron Worker machines and related products, via blueprints, bill of materials, photos and job notes. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($20/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).

Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. Overtime is available.

• Utilize photos, blueprints, engineering sketches, verbal instructions to build product.
• Follow written or verbal instructions.
• Write legibly, fill out final inspection and test documentation.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, air tools.
• Basic welding experience.
• Utilize overhead cranes and proper rigging or lifting devices.
• Operate a forklift.
• Maintain good housekeeping and works to achieve the housekeeping goals set forth by Warehouse Supervision.

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude; trade school student or recent technical/trade school graduate preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, engineering sketches, photos, and follow written or verbal instructions.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, air tools, and basic welding equipment.
• Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and proper rigging/lifting devices.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work overtime in a warehouse environment.
