A manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality control and quality assurance activities across incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products. This is a hands‑on leadership role for a quality professional who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and working closely with Production and Engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead quality inspection activities for incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products
  • Investigate product defects and non‑conformance issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
  • Manage Pre‑Shipment Inspection (PSI) preparation, documentation, and coordination
  • Lead and improve ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 procedures, including internal audits, training, and external audit coordination
  • Communicate with customers regarding quality issues, rejection reports, and corrective actions
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical requirements
  • Use measuring tools to verify product dimensions and quality standards
  • Lead First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation for new projects
  • Monitor scrap and quality hold trends and work with Production and Engineering to resolve issues
  • Recommend improvements to production and inspection processes to improve quality, productivity, and cost control
Qualifications
  • Experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
  • Experience with quality inspection and measuring tools
  • Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Good computer skills for reports, data tracking, and documentation
  • College degree preferred but not required
