About the role
As a Security Officer, duties will vary by day and event, including customer service, patrols, surveillance, and adaptation to changing circumstances.
Location & ScheduleSite location:
Belvidere, IL.
Shift schedule may vary; shifts: 1st shift 6 a.m.–2 p.m., 2nd shift 2 p.m.–10 p.m., 3rd shift 10 p.m.–6 a.m. Schedules may change due to demand.
Compensation & Benefits- Competitive hourly wage: $19.05 per hour (Daily Pay available for Garda World employees).

- Monitor the premises to ensure security.
- Conduct patrols to spot suspicious activity.
- Control access points and verify identities.
- Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security.
- Write detailed reports on events and incidents.
- Collaborate with authorities during serious situations.
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Documented High School Diploma or GED.
- Pass comprehensive screening process.
- Excellent problem‑solving and quick‑thinking skills.
- Experience in security, military, or law‑enforcement preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Age 21 or older.
- Pass MVR.
- Pass drug screen.
- Valid IL PERC.
Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening to be conducted after an offer of employment is extended.
