Renaissance Historic Exteriors is looking for experienced former Solar Installers who are ready to take their technical skillset and apply it to historic preservation and specialty roofing/trades work
.

If you’ve worked in solar installation, you already have many of the core skills we value:

• Comfortable working at heights
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Precision, safety, and problem-solving
• Experience with roof systems, climbing equipment, heavy lifting, and hand/power tools

• Assist with slate, tile, and copper roofing restoration.
• Support installation and repair on historic structures.
• Work hands-on with high-end materials.
• Travel across the Midwest for project work.
• Contribute to award-winning preservation projects.

• Previous experience in solar installation.
• Strong work ethic and comfort working outdoors.
• Ability to learn specialty roofing and historic preservation techniques.
• Willingness to travel for project-based work.
• Commitment to safety and craftsmanship.

• Competitive pay: $25.00–$50.00/hr based on experience.
