What You’ll Do
- Perform structural and finish carpentry on historic buildings.
- Execute traditional woodworking, timber framing, and custom repairs.
- Restore or replicate historic components with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Read and interpret project plans, drawings, and scopes of work.
- Work independently and as part of a highly skilled restoration crew.
- Travel to job sites throughout the Midwest (travel required).
- Proven carpentry experience in restoration, remodeling, framing, or historic work.
- Knowledge of traditional woodworking methods (preferred).
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work safely, efficiently, and collaboratively.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel as project sites vary.
- Competitive pay: $25.00–$35.00 per hour (based on experience).
