The Billing & Accounts Receivable Coordinator plays a vital role in driving accurate and efficient billing and cash application processes. In this position, you’ll review sales orders, generate invoices, process payments, and help maintain financial records. What you’ll be doing Sales Order & Billing Review- Review sales order documentation to confirm required billing information is complete prior to invoicing.
- Verify that pricing, equipment, and service details are entered accurately in the billing system.
- Prepare client invoices.
- Enter billing information into the accounting or ERP system.
- Run inventory reports after billing to confirm inventory has cleared properly in the warehouse.
- Post and apply client payments.
- Balance daily payment transactions and reconcile accounts receivable activity.
- Prepare and submit daily bank deposits through the company’s banking system.
- Run and distribute monthly client statements via email and mail.
- Support daily invoice delivery, including email distribution, printing, and mailing.
An associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, along with 1 year of experience in an administrative, billing, accounting, or financial support role. Candidates should have basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, with experience using accounting or ERP systems considered a plus. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy, effective organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
