Sr. Accountant - Northern MN - CONFIDENTIAL

A well-established and highly respected company in Northern Minnesota is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its team. This is a 100% on-site position offering the opportunity to support company growth and partner directly with operational leaders across the organization.

As the Senior Accountant, you will play a vital role in the company's financial operations, with a strong focus on cost and inventory accounting, month-end close activities, financial reporting, and business analysis. This role is highly visible within the organization and partners closely with leadership to provide insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.

• Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000 annual salary

• Handle month-end close processes, prepare journal entries for accruals and depreciation, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and generate financial statements
• Develop and maintain costing models while managing financial cost-benefit analysis projects throughout the company
• Produce financial forecasting analysis models, monitor trends, and deliver recommendations to stakeholders
• Partner with leaders, teams, and staff to track operational KPIs and provide actionable financial data
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, corporate standards, and tax requirements while providing documentation for internal and external audits

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field required
• 5+ years of cost accounting experience
• Previous manufacturing or related industry experience strongly preferred
• CPA and/or CMA designation highly desired
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
