Position: Automotive Service Advisor / Project Manager

Isanti, United States

Immediate opening for a highly motivated Service Advisor / Project Manager experienced in working with clients and managing the shop floor and staff. Understanding of computers and a good command of the English language is a must. Flexible hours. This position does not require previous experience with classic cars, but a Project Manager with excellent mechanical aptitude is essential. Prior experience as a mechanic/technician is highly welcome.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with clients to obtain approval of work.
  • Manage and oversee the approved work with mechanics.
  • Keep paperwork up to date between floor and office staff.
  • Research and order parts when needed.
  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the mechanics.
  • Ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns.
  • Schedule and assign work orders to technicians based on skillset and workload.
  • Monitor technician performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and services.
  • Promote a clean and safe workplace.
  • Collaborate with others to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Requirements

  • Proficient in Word and Excel.
  • Good command of the English language.
Key Skills
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, tires, and other automotive systems.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and provide clear explanations of repair recommendations.
  • Excellent leadership skills to motivate and guide the team.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage schedules and paperwork.
  • Ability to pass information to parts department efficiently for timely parts reception.
Compensation & Benefits

Full‑time position. Salary range: $47,220.00 – $65,500.00 per year.

Work Hours & Location

Day shift only. Monday to Friday (no weekends, no nights). 8‑hour shifts with the possibility of four 10‑hour days.
