Border States Paving, Inc., a regional paving company with headquarters in Fargo, ND, is accepting applications to fill the position of a hands‑on Asphalt Paving Superintendent to oversee multiple facets of municipal and highway paving projects. The Asphalt Paving Superintendent oversees the working foreman and daily activities at the work site project. Responsible for the overall progress of the project as well as the scheduling of work crew and the delivery of equipment and materials.

Works with contractors, owners, and representatives to complete the project within the given budget and time frame in a safe, productive, and professional manner.

High School diploma or equivalent, more than 5 years related heavy highway road construction experience with minimum 3 years previous field crew supervision experience. BS or BA in Construction Management, business, or related studies desirable or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to communicate and problem solve effectively. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are required with the ability to handle multiple projects and scheduling.

Salary possibility up to $130,000 (DOE)

$425 per week per diem, camper lot paid, eligible for Bonus and Profit Sharing! Company Truck, family health coverage, 401k match and other benefits.

Must be able to pass a drug screen.
Must be able to work flexible hours and extensive travel is required.
