EHS / HSE Manager, Program / Project Manager
Salary Range: $90k-160k (based on experience)
This position will be based on a project in Bemidji, MN, scheduled to begin in May or June 2026. We welcome applications from both local candidates and candidates located outside the area. For non-local hires, housing and a living stipend will be provided for the duration of the project.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESOverall Objective:
The Project Superintendent is responsible for managing a safe and productive jobsite. The Project Superintendent will schedule all subcontractors/ vendors to ensure the project stays on schedule and under budget in strict accordance with our QC program, plans, specifications, and local codes. The Project Superintendent will work with the project team ensuring contracts, submittals and RFI’s are completed on schedule to prevent delay to the project.
- Coordination of all subcontractors
- Implement and monitor a Safety Program
- Work in a positive and constructive manner with Project Manager and Project Owner
- Monitor construction progress and maintain high quality standards
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Potential to have additional Superintendent or Assistant Superintendents
- Understanding of building plans and specifications. Self-starter with ability to multi-task, work independently and in teams.
- Prepare and maintain master schedules and look ahead schedules.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills to include email, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations.
- Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and professionalism in interactions internally within the organization and externally with clients, project team partners, and the community.
- Detail orientated with strong problem solving and is flexible as needed when working with a difficult customer.
- Demonstrated leadership, mentoring and supervisory experience.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Proficient in reading and understanding architectural drawings and specifications and technical standards.
- Position requires a valid driver's license and an acceptable background check per company policy and standards.
- Proficiency with the tools utilized in our industry including but not limited to scheduling and project management software packages. (Procore, Blue Beam, Microsoft Project, etc.)
- OSHA 30 training:
Understands and enforces OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies relating to job site safety, demonstrates safe work practices.
