Position Details

• Collegial group of 6 ED physicians looks forward to welcoming a new Medical Director to the team
• Based at an award-winning community hospital just an hour north of Minneapolis
• Level IV Trauma Center; ~15K ED visits/year
• Work alongside one of several experienced NP/PAs during day shifts
• Highly functional department - patients experience little to no wait for beds or transfers
• Exceptionally flexible schedule: six 12-hour ED shifts per month (or as many as shifts as you’d like) & an average of ~16 hours of admin work/month (a significant amount of which can be done remotely)
• EMS Medical Directorship not required as part of the ED Medical Director role
• Epic EMR
• Extremely competitive compensation: average $246/hr for ED shifts (with differential pay going up to $348/hr) plus additional medical director stipend
• $200K signing/retention bonus
• Generous PTO - accrue up to 240 hours annually
