Responsibilities- Performing professional engineering planning, design, and construction oversight activities for community and individual water supply, wastewater, and solid waste facilities to serve American Indian homes.
- Preparing project summaries, construction documents, and final reports. Ensuring accuracy of program data systems for assigned Tribes and communities. Ensuring that projects to address sanitation deficiencies are properly scoped, consistently scored, and have accurate cost estimates.
- Visiting Tribal communities where projects are being planned and constructed.
- Providing supervision and guidance to technical and administrative staff as a first level supervisor.

This position requires the successful completion of a federal background investigation as a condition of employment. - Degree:
Engineering. To be acceptable, the program must: (1) lead to a bachelor's degree in a school of engineering with at least one program accredited by ABET; or (2) include differential and integral calculus and courses (more advanced than first-year physics and chemistry) in five of the following seven areas of engineering science or physics: (a) statics, dynamics; (b) strength of materials (stress-strain relationships);
