• Expanding Breast Center
• New IR provider joining soon

Daily responsibilities include performing general, OB, and IR ultrasound procedures. Equipment used includes GE E10’s with Scan assist, GE S8, and GE Versana.

Perform ultrasounds professionally and diagnostically, utilizing cognitive sonographic skills to identify and record anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic images.

• Understand operation of ultrasound machinery and adapt to new technologies
• Perform various ultrasound examinations
• Maintain professional relationships with patients and staff
• Uphold high ethical standards and demonstrate empathy and compassion
• Understand cross-sectional anatomy and age-related testing protocols
• Assist with accreditation processes and equipment maintenance
• Coordinate with healthcare team, including assisting with invasive procedures
• Supervise and train students and sonographers as needed
• Potentially expand responsibilities to include echocardiography depending on the facility

• Completed an educational program in ultrasonography or equivalent experience
• Prior sonographer experience preferred
• Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or obtain registration within two years of hire
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record if working in mobile units
