Radiology Tech | Cath Lab

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, invites applications for a Radiologic Technologist position. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging examinations on patients while ensuring high‑quality diagnostic images.

Work Shift: 8 Hours – Day Shifts.
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday.
Union Position: Yes.

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations on patients, ensuring the collection of quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain accurate patient positioning during radiographic procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images in accordance with provider requests and technical protocols.
• Implement radiation safety guidelines and apply proper radiation protection practices.
• Deliver excellent patient care and education before, during, and after imaging procedures.
• Document procedures in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Complete additional duties as assigned, including on‑call rotation nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Assist with mobile imaging, electrocardiogram (EKG), cardiac monitor placement, and dual energy X‑ray absorptiometry (DEXA) procedures.

• Completion of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)‑approved educational program.
• Current ARRT registration.
• Working knowledge of diagnostic radiographic principles, including positioning, image processing, quality control, and radiation protection.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) may be requested.
• Possession of cardiovascular and/or vascular interventional certification within three years of hire is desired.
• Willingness to work on‑call rotation nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
