This role will involve providing medical nutrition therapy and developing diet interventions in acute care settings. Key Responsibilities of the Dietitian
- Provide medical nutrition therapy services to clients/patients/residents of all ages
- Determine nutritional status through comprehensive nutritional assessments
- Develop and implement personalized care plans and nutrition therapy
- Educate and counsel clients on disease and nutrition risk management
- Evaluate outcomes of medical nutrition therapy interventions
- Optimize self-management education for chronic condition care
- Work on nutrition care protocols and lead the healthcare team in implementation
Requirements of the Dietitian
- MN state license required
- BSN not required
- BLS Certification
