Responsibilities
  • Lead high-performing teams and drive operational excellence in clinic operations as a Clinic Supervisor.
  • Assist in implementing changes and processes to facilitate efficient, quality Patient Access services and meet department goals.
  • Oversee day-to-day Patient Access operations which may include admissions, discharges, transfers (ADT), registration, scheduling, department appointments reporting, and EMR issues.
  • Develop workflows for accurate patient data and support financial processes (pre-authorization, assistance for underinsured/insured patients, and government programs) to improve patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with department management on procedural changes related to workflows, ADT modules, and reimbursements for private, state, and federal payers to ensure financial return.
  • Collect, compile, and validate data; interpret data and create timely reports to aid departmental training.
  • Distribute work to achieve goals, maintain accuracy and productivity, and meet deadlines within budget and timelines.
  • Lead change management and communicate effectively to achieve organizational and departmental goals.
  • Orient, train, schedule, evaluate, and provide ongoing continuing education; maintain staffing levels; mentor and empower staff; foster professional growth.
  • Model professional leadership; demonstrate problem solving, decision making, and high-quality execution in complex situations.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in a healthcare or business-related field or 4 years of related experience required.
  • Previous experience with health insurance is desired.
