American Traveler is hiring a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist for a night shift sleep lab position requiring RPSGT certification and 2+ years of sleep tech experience.
Requirements- Current RPSGT certification via BRPT
- Current BLS certification through AHA
- Minimum 2 years of sleep tech experience required
- Must be comfortable working alone during shifts
- Must be able to perform studies on patients aged 5 and up
- License required if applicable
- Work in a 4-bed sleep lab within the Respiratory Care & Sleep Center
- Acute care setting at a Level 3 trauma facility
- Perform sleep studies on patients aged 5 and up
- Uses EPIC EMR and Natus Sleep works equipment
- 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Weekend shifts needed but not on a rotational basis
- No call requirements
- No floating to other units/departments
- Must be comfortable working independently without direct supervision
- Unit-specific orientation consists of 3 nights, potentially fewer if not needed
- Gray scrubs required for dress code
- Candidates must be willing to obtain MN Net Study 2 weeks prior to start
- Accepts local candidates within 80 miles of the facility at a reduced rate
