Job Summary :
Under the direction of the Director of Finance and supervision ofthe Village Administrative Team anddeans, Interns will help provide support for the day-to-day operations of the village,retail performance, and village logistics.

Position responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation of the Village Store includingmaintainingset retail standards.
- Communicate with the Village Administrative Teamtoensure villager arrival and departure information isrelayed to the relevant parties and followed.
- Be the point person for village parent/guardian communication ensuring phone calls and emails are answered ina timelyand professional manner.
- Work with the Village Administrative Team toorder needed village supplies within the setpurchasingparameters.
- General office duties includingmaintainingvillager attendance lists, photocopying, printing emails, and villager/staff awards
- Attend weekly intern meetings and complete 2 short projects onsystems and efficiencies.
- Adapt toa constantlychanging environment with flexibility and a problem-solvingstyle.
- Drive villagers and staff in a Village van orcar,when necessary, may be around the Village orintothe nearby town
- Cabin counseling duties as assigned
General Responsibilities for All Positions
- Be familiar with and abide by specific policiesset forth inthe “Personnel Policies,” which aredesignatedby Concordia Language Villages administration and individual Village deans.
- Read and become familiar with the responsibilities for your specific area of assignment.
- After receiving your Staff Handbook and other material, read all the information carefully and thoroughly before arriving at the Village.
