Security Administrator – Cybersecurity Focus

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Over 5 years of experience in application security, cybersecurity, access management, and network security
• Practical experience with identity and access management tools
• Knowledge of SOX controls, segregation of duties (SoD), and security for financial applications is advantageous
• Experience in healthcare settings, particularly in hospital systems with HIPAA knowledge, is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking with a keen attention to detail
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities

• Manage and oversee user access for various applications and systems, particularly focusing on SOX compliance for financial systems such as Workday, Gorev, and Waystar
• Utilize security technologies including SIEM, WAF, EDR, XDR, SSO, and MFA
• Lead the implementation of Okta
• Administer and track the performance of additional cybersecurity tools
• Ensure adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements regarding application security and access controls
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate testing and remediation efforts
• Monitor security logs for any unusual access patterns or breaches of policy
• Conduct regular assessments of applications to identify and mitigate potential risks
• Partner with application owners and vendors to resolve vulnerabilities and apply best practices
• Create, update, and enforce application security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure alignment with corporate governance and compliance frameworks

We are looking for a skilled Application Security Administrator to join our team and take on extensive responsibilities related to security initiatives such as identity access management (IAM) using Okta, MFA, SSO, EDR, XDR, email security, and more. In this full-time position, you will be instrumental in managing and executing IT security solutions alongside daily operations, with a focus on enhancing the security posture of our enterprise applications.
