About The OpportunityAs a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at EMR, you’ll be a hands‑on part of keeping our Becker, MN yard running smoothly. You’ll work with a team to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair heavy equipment.
What You’ll Do- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment such as material handlers, forklifts and loaders
- Perform inspections, diagnostics and routine maintenance
- Dismantle, reassemble and install parts or new equipment
- Keep equipment fueled, lubricated and report issues
- 3+ years of maintenance experience
- Experience repairing heavy machinery, metal processing equipment and trucks
- Background in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Familiar with industrial sized equipment and operations
- Knowledge of diesel engines, welding and fabricating
- $32-45 per hour, 50+ hours per week
- Typical shift: 6:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday, with some shifts extending to 6:00 pm
- No nights or weekends
