Soldering Technician

We are looking for a detail-oriented Soldering Technician to support the assembly and inspection of medical electronic components for Medtronic. The role requires precision hand soldering, adherence to strict quality and regulatory standards
, and the ability to work in a controlled manufacturing environment.

• Perform hand soldering and rework on electronic components (SMT & through-hole) as per IPC-A-610 standards
• Assemble medical device sub-assemblies using soldering irons, microscopes, and hand tools
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
• Inspect solder joints and assemblies for defects, quality, and compliance
• Follow GMP, ISO 13485, and FDA regulations applicable to medical devices
• Maintain accurate documentation and batch records
• Handle sensitive electronic components following ESD and cleanroom protocols
• Collaborate with quality, engineering, and production teams to resolve issues
• Ensure adherence to safety, cleanliness, and contamination control standards

• Diploma / Bachelor / Certification in Electronics, Electrical
• Proven experience in precision soldering (medical devices or electronics manufacturing preferred)
• Knowledge of IPC soldering standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001)
• Experience with SMT and through-hole soldering
• Ability to work with microscopes and fine-pitch components
• Strong attention to detail and quality mindset
• Basic understanding of lean manufacturing and quality systems
