Team Lead, Manufacturing ​/ Production

• Promote team members’ safety and welfare.
• Communicate goals to team members and provide timely feedback on achievement.
• Assign tasks to team members, ensure job rotations; monitor workload and reassign team members as needed to achieve production goals.
• Welcome, introduce, and train new team members; monitor performance and progress, and address performance concerns in conjunction with the manager.
• Ensure team members follow all regulations and written procedures applicable to the work; ensure team members rotating into new assignments complete required training.
• Audit and document (or ensure audits are carried out) initial and on‑going production runs for conformance to Company quality specifications.
• Perform Direct Labor assignments 80% of the time.
• Keep production and quality records, including scrap and rework reporting, that are pertinent to manufacturing.
• Contribute to and assist with performance reviews; ensure all team members receive regular feedback and formal performance reviews at least annually.
• Assist management with reports and corrective actions as assigned or directed.
• Assist management with selection, hiring processes and new team member training processes.
• Understand, communicate and maintain Safety and Housekeeping Standards in work area and throughout the plant.
• Ensure a highly reliable product is shopped on time per Company manufacturing schedule.
• Demonstrate and support Nortech’s Mission, Core Values, policies and procedures at all times.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The pay range for this role is $24.53- $29.00 hourly. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and other candidate qualifications.

Associates or better.

• Three years of manufacturing and assembly experience including: working with quality control methods and ensuring manufacturing outcomes achieve requirements as specified.
• Three years of manufacturing and assembly experience including: using electronic devices and computing systems including Microsoft Office and manufacturing software applications.
• Using assembly and manufacturing equipment in an environment closely related to Company manufacturing procedures and requirements.
• Performing hands‑on assembly tasks in an environment closely related to Company manufacturing procedures and requirements.
• Reading and accurately interpreting technical, manufacturing, and product assembly instructions and specifications.
• Associates degree or equivalent certification in a manufacturing or closely related technical discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience training and assisting new and developing team members.

• Manufacturing experience in a medical device, aerospace, defense, or similar high‑tech environment.
