Salary Range: $75.00 To $90.00 Hourly

Currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support the Red Lake or Cass Lake Indian Hospital. Red Lake needs a day and night shift nurse. Cass Lake needs med-surg and ED support.

• Degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed by applicant.
• Three (3) years nursing experience.
• A current, valid, unrestricted nursing license in a state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States, throughout the term of this contract.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

• RN will provide full range of services. ED and Med-Surg are primary needs.
• RN will exercise knowledge of the nursing process and its application to clinical practice in order to provide individualized, goal-oriented nursing care to the laboring, postpartum, antepartum and newborn patients.
• RN will exercise knowledge of scientific and psychosocial nursing theory, principles, spiritual, and social-cultural needs of the Indian patient.
• RN will exercise knowledge of the biological aspects of disease processes and illness relating to Obstetrical and newborn infants and is able to recognize complications and implement appropriate nursing/therapeutic intervention required.
• RN will exercise knowledge of the medications and dosages in order to recognize their desired effects, side-effects, and complications of their use.
• RN will analyze the results of various medical procedures and translate them into appropriate nursing interventions.
• RN will work effectively and harmoniously within the health care team and with Indian patients and their families.
