The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients.

• Collaborate with inter‑professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and applicable age and population‑specific standards.
• Provide care to patients in all phases of preventive care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow‑up as patients move through the continuum of care.
• Plan and coordinate care, perform patient assessment, provide patient education, triage, and perform various nursing interventions.
• Operate within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in state nursing practice acts and administrative rules.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (AACN, ACEN, or NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Current, unencumbered RN license with the state board of nursing where practice occurs, or multistate licensure under the Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Maintain required departmental competencies and certifications.
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• At least six months of travel experience.
• Live at least 60 miles from the location where the position will be performed.

• Weekly pay with stipend included in the weekly rate.
• Eligible for Sanford benefits.
• Contracts are 14 weeks with the option to extend or move to another Sanford site.
