Camp Nurse needed for the month of August Bemidji MN
Job Description:
This is a unique opportunity where you can have free room and board and meals 7 days a week or commute to the camp clinic each day. Assignment is from July 26th
- August 23rdCollaborate with program staff to provide a safe and healthy environment for program participants
Adapt to constantly changing environment with flexibility and a problem-solving style
Communicate with parents/guardians about updates to their children s health as needed
Supervise distribution of medication to staff and villagers
Demonstrate understanding of youth mental, emotional, and social health needs
Emotional resiliency and cognitive abilities to carry out job responsibilities specifically in the busy, noisy, communal environment
Ability to establish and maintain appropriate professional relationships.
Ability to exercise good judgment and manage your own needs in order to maintain a youth-centered program.
Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with individuals and groups in respecting social and cultural diversity and to maintain appropriate boundaries.
