Work Shift:

12 hours - evening shifts (United States of America). Scheduled weekly hours: 40. Compensation:
Salary range: $18.50 - $29.00. Union position:
No.

• Enforce policies and procedures with patients, residents, visitors, and staff.
• Patrol and secure facility buildings and grounds as assigned.
• Monitor visitor conduct on premises and confront unauthorized persons for questioning.
• Report safety, fire hazards, or security violations.
• Respond to all requests for assistance from employees, patients, residents, and visitors.
• Assist with any situation, problem‑solving with positive outcomes.
• Escort personnel to and from parking areas as requested.
• Maintain records and prepare incident reports and other documents related to security activities.
• Work effectively with all age groups.
• Prioritize calls for service in order of urgency based on safety needs.
• De‑escalate highly stressful situations as soon as possible.
• Maintain awareness of local laws affecting conduct on private property.
• Communicate effectively with all customers.
• Write professional reports.
• Demonstrate the physical ability to perform basic security officer functions as trained.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). College or vocational education preferred.
• Prior experience in healthcare security, contract security, and/or law enforcement highly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license (may be required depending on region).
• Basic certification by the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety preferred within one year of hire.
