Truck and Trailer Mechanic
Northwest Tire's Truck & Farm Shop in Bemidji is hiring a Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Duty Truck & Trailer Technician. If you have experience working on diesel trucks, trailers, farm equipment, or heavy-duty vehicles, this is a great opportunity to join a growing team with competitive pay, steady hours, and advancement opportunities.
What You'll Do:
- Diagnose and repair HD trucks and trailers
- Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections
- Complete repairs on: brakes, suspension, steering systems, alignments, general mechanical systems
- Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot issues
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Communicate clearly with team members and customers
Qualifications:
- Experience as a diesel mechanic, truck technician, or heavy equipment mechanic preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to learn and grow
