Northwoods Lumber Co. is seeking a full-time CDL Class B Driver to work in our yard as well as make deliveries to job sites. We offer competitive compensation, medical and dental plans, 401K, paid time‑off and six paid holidays.
Responsibilities- Provide assistance to customers
- Receive and prepare material for shipment
- Check received loads and delivery loads for accuracy
- Load, secure, and deliver material to jobsites
- Daily inspections of delivery vehicles per DOT requirements
- Maintain proper paperwork
- Driver will be expected to work in yard when there are no deliveries
- Prior experience using forklifts a plus
- Assist with keeping a clean yard
- Communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees, and management
- Perform any additional projects as required by management
- CDL Class B
- Ability to routinely lift 100 lbs
- Ability to arrange loads properly
- Pre‑employment and random drug testing is required
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions
