Bookkeeper:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain and determine the appropriate general ledger coding of transactions
- Create journal entries and prepare financial reports on a timely basis
- Code invoices, set up new accounts and reconcile accounts in the accounting system
- Reconcile bank accounts at least monthly, verify deposits and address bank inquiries
- Reconcile cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts; manage accounts receivable collections.
- Verify and/or complete payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensure payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
- Process ACH payments and wires
- Print and mail checks for vendor payments, check requests and reimbursements
- Process billing invoices for various Texas offices
- Verify and process 1099 vendor forms annually
Experience:
- High school diploma
- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
- Familiarity with Quick Books Online and Desktop
