Job SummaryJoin our dynamic team as a Self Storage Property Associate and play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and support to our valued customers. As a Property Associate, you will manage day-to-day operations and ensure our self‑storage facility remains an organized, secure, and welcoming environment. This role is ideal for individuals who have excellent organizational skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for customer service.
Responsibilities- Assist customers with inquiries regarding self‑storage options and provide information on available units, rental terms, and pricing.
- Guide customers through the rental process, including completing necessary documentation and contracts.
- Ensure the facility is clean, presentable, and free of hazards by conducting regular walk‑through inspections and coordinating with staff for maintenance when necessary. Must be able and willing to do light maintenance.
- Manage payment transactions, including rental fees, late payments, and record‑keeping through our automated systems.
- Conduct security checks and monitor access to the storage facility to ensure customer belongings are safe and secure.
- Facilitate customer move‑ins and move‑outs by providing assistance and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory and monitor unit availability to optimize facility occupancy.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist with marketing efforts to promote the facility and attract new customers.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in property management is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively under minimal supervision.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle with insurance.
